Developing vehicles that are better for the environment is more important now than ever before. Audi has taken its commitments to the community and responsibilities as a major automotive manufacturer seriously. They have been developing hybrid versions of their most popular vehicles and fully electric vehicles.

Audi's current lineup of hybrids features a premium small SUV and their flagship sedan. The Q5 hybrid gets a massive boost in power while also enjoying better gas mileage provided by a 14.1 kWh battery. The Q5 is a plug-in hybrid, which is incredibly convenient if you want to make sure your hybrid is charged every morning. The Q5 can go up to 20 miles on electric power alone, which is enough range to get from one side of Thousand Oaks, CA to the other.

The A8 L plug-in hybrid shares the same 14.1 kWh battery pack found in the Q5 hybrid. The A8 focuses on being a luxury cruiser that you can comfortably drive around in. The A8 plug-in hybrid gives you the ability to drive around in all-electric mode, which is ideal if you want to arrive or leave in style.

The final eco-focused vehicle in Audi's lineup is the e-Tron full-electric crossover. The e-Tron can be had as a standard crossover SUV, or you can get it in a sleeker Sportback body style. According to the EPA, the e-Tron can go up to 204 miles and has a 150 kW DC fast charging capability. The e-Tron can charge up to 54 miles in 10 minutes if plugged into a high-speed charger. The e-Tron Sportback ups the range up to 218 miles on a single charge, and it can charge up to 58 miles in 10 minutes. The Sportback also has a more menacing and sportier look that is perfect if you want a sharper-looking daily driver.

Our team at Rusnak/Westlake Audi wants you to have the best ownership experience possible with your electric Audi.
